Pressure transmitters serve as essential tools for measuring the pressure or level of industrial liquids and gases, with their output signals transmitted to control systems. Industries such as gas, petrochemicals, and pharmaceuticals require precise, real-time pressure monitoring via transmitters integrated with rapid conversion systems, often using comprehensive gauge setups for optimal pressure control.


Gauge Pressure Transmitters

A gauge pressure (GP) transmitter measures process pressure by comparing it to the local ambient air pressure. Equipped with ports for real-time sampling of ambient pressure, these transmitters—despite their high accuracy—can still be impacted by fluctuations in surrounding air pressure. Readings above ambient pressure are shown as positive values, while those below ambient appear as negative numbers.
